The next morning, after spending half the night strategizing with Zavareh, Rostam pulled on his tiger skin, mounted Rakhsh, and rode out to the dueling zone. There, he found Sohrab looking fresh as a daisy, and not at all as if he’d spent the night doing shots with an increasingly alarmed Human. Continue reading “Chapter 143. Rostam the Liar.”
Chapter 142. Zavareh.
Sohrab trudged back into the Turanian camp. “What happened there?”
“We were just watching the duel, minding our own business, when the other warrior attacked us for no reason,” said Human. “Luckily, no one was killed. You told us not to engage, so we didn’t. Spilled a lot of popcorn, though. Bit of a waste.” Continue reading “Chapter 142. Zavareh.”
Chapter 141. Father and Son.
Rostam and Sohrab rode out to an open area, turned, and without more ado, crossed swords. Their swords eventually shattered under all the blows, javelins were lost and splintered, and as the hours passed, warriors and horses all became exhausted.

Chapter 135. Giv.
Rostam, you are the best warrior ever and I totally appreciate you. Can you give me a hand? There’s a terrifying child warrior attacking us at the head of a Turanian army. If you don’t come and defeat him, we’re screwed.
